My LV Spray Tanning Fake Bake Experience

If you follow me on Instagram, you may be aware that I recently went away on a trip to Liverpool with my lovely boyfriend. Everyone know's Liverpool is famous for its glitz and glam, so I thought i'd make myself feel a little more 'glam' by going all out and having a spray tan. After a lovely email from Claire over at LV Spray Tanning popped up in my inbox, I was so excited to try out a Fake Bake spray tan. I've had a Fake Bake spray tan in the past for my prom, but I didn't have the best experience so I was abit on edge, but Claire's advice and guidance throughout the process definitely put me at ease.

I was actually spending the day at my nana's so as Claire is mobile I decided to ask her to come to my nana's house to do my tan. As she set up the booth and got everything ready for my to be glammed up, I was handed the cutest little goodie bag, which I will include a picture to below. It included leaflets detailing about all of the different Fake Bake products available, a straw so that I didn't damage my tan through drinking, a Galaxy bar (because who doesn't love a good chocolate) and some LV Spray Tanning business cards.
Once everything was set up Claire guided me through the spray tanning process, explaining everything she was doing as she went along. She prepped my skin with moisturizer to make sure no tan clung to any dry patches on my skin. She then also used quite a unique process which I have never experience before with a spray tan which consisted of her 'spraying and then drying' which meant she dried individual sections of the tan as she went along. This ensured that I was completely dry when the tan was done and so that it had less chance of budging (which I thought worked really really well).

When I stepped out of the booth I was abit shocked. I did look extremely dark, alot darker than I have ever looked before! But Claire reassured me that this was just the guide tan and it would wash off a lovely even color in the morning, as I had explained to her that as I am quite far, I didn't want my tan to come off too dark. Which leads me to a fab aspect of a Fake Bake spray tan. The product actually works with your natural skin colour which ensures that the colour you go with the tan works for what is best and what really suits you. Which from my experience in the morning, really worked. The tan also gave off a lovely coconutty smell, which lasted right up until the morning. I never once smelt that dreaded 'biscuit' fake tan smell. I will post a picture below of the tan line I was left with. It was quite subtle as this is all I wanted for myself, but obviously you are able to go as dark and as light as you want - there are so many Fake Bake products to choose from.

I wish I took more pictures of before and after the tan, because the results were just amazing. I will pop a picture of before and after below, so that you are able to see what I usually look like without a spray tan. But I can most definitely say that my LV Spray Tanning spray tan is the best spray tan I've ever had. Claire was so so lovely and reassuring, and definitely took away all of my bad thoughts on Fake Bake spray tan. (It was definitely the self taught spray technician that let me down in the past and not the Fake Bake product itself!) I can now honestly say that I will never trust anyone else to do my spray tan again. I have officially been converted to a LV Spray Tanning fangirl! If your from the Derby area you can book yourselves in from the information on Claires Facebook, Instagram, and Webpage- which I will leave the details to below!
